Cartier![]() Cartier Cartier’s loyal high-end consumers have left the brand in relatively good shape during the recession. Now, in an effort to capture the interest of a younger audience as well, Cartier has become one of the first luxury brands to embrace social networking sites. The brand’s MySpace website features exclusive songs from artists such as Lou Reed, Marion Cotillard, and Phoenix. Cartier also focused on sustainability eff orts with the launch of its “Love Charity” bracelet. A portion of the sale of each bracelet will be donated to Action Against Hunger. The international, non-governmental, nonreligious, non-profit organization tackles hunger in 43 countries worldwide and seeks to alleviate childhood malnutrition.
