The African Schools Sport Association (Ireland) ASSA develop coalitions of support in both Ireland and Africa. The forthcoming World Cup 2010 is a historic event, hosted by South Africa and is for the first time on the African Continent. Together we embrace a global platform opportunity, to help as many children as possible, to relish an exciting event of which makes for; a positive and long lasting influence on their lives.

For children and youth throughout Africa, there is limited or no access to basic sports equipment facilities (jerseys; shorts; socks; footballs; boots; coaching etc.). The cause of this is, both, through lack of either required funding or organizational infrastructure. The children and youth whom, being, socially and economically deprived, are at risk to influences of crime regimes, leading to much unnecessary pain and misery.
